The Lost Glitches is a hard game to describe. Sure, on the surface it looks like a trading card game. Well, that’s because it is. Jedoch, wrapped up in the cyberpunk/techno style is a bit of a unique experience. Whether that’ll be good or reach a large audience has yet to be determined, bit things are interesting here, to say the least.
The Lost Glitches prides itself on being a bit of a slow burn. Your deck tells a “story.” What’s that mean? You have to play it to really understand, but it kind of means that there’s a bit of an RPG unfolding here as you play ranked or friendly matches. Even the way you play is likely different from other TCGs you’ve played in the past. There’s not a cavalcade of cards flying around the board. In fact, you can only have 5 units even out at a time. The team also promises that there’s no “cheap wins” here. If you want to rock some crazy combo, you’re going to have to find it yourself and you’ll be proud that you did.
This might not be for every card game player out there, but if you want to get in on collecting over 300 cards, and if the game truly holds up on its promise to reward those that think instead of clicking, you could be in for a unique experience.
