Netmarble today announced that its monster-taming action RPG Mongil: Star Dive will launch on PC and mobile devices on April 15th. The sequel to the mobile game Monster Taming is currently in the polishing phase after a series of closed beta tests.
If you’re unfamiliar with Mongil: Sternentauchen, it’s a creature-collecting game starring a rather rotund black cat called Nyanners with a Kirby-like tendency to swallow things whole – in diesem Fall, monsters, which are transformed into small keychain accessories called Monsterlings that can be used to enhance the playable characters’ abilities. As with many games of this type, players assemble a team of characters to go on adventures with.
At the moment, Pre-registration because the game is live. Players receive rewards based on the type of pre-registration they do. By email registration, players will receive a free Francis character (support), Hilia profile picture, 3 Spider Leg Royal Platters and 3 Berritastic Shaved Ice. Anyone who pre-registers via mobile phone will receive 10 Compass of Promise, a Lenna profile picture, 3 Legendary Gold Chicken and 3 Steak of Tenacity. I haven’t looked to see if players can get both sets of rewards by registering both ways, but it seems likely. Zusätzlich, there are pre-registration milestones that provide players with additional useful items. When you reach the 500,000 mark, everyone will receive a Mollmander monster.
Ahead of the release, Netmarble revealed the game’s next region (which will be released at a later date) and some more characters that players can expect to see. You can take a look in the trailer below.
