Hoy, the Apex Legends team announced arguably one of the cooler video game crossover events – especially if you’re a Gundam fan. The Apex Legends x Gundam event brings Gundam-inspired combat to the free-to-play team shooter, even turning the Broken Moon map into a full Gundam battlefield with giant statues, destroyed mobile suits, and ships fighting overhead.

Players can purchase skins for eight characters in the game. These include a Gundam Epyon skin for Alter, a Freedom Gundam skin for Crypto, and a Wing Gundam Zero skin for Valkyrie. Conduit, Gibby, Espejismo, Octane and Revenant will also receive their own skins. There are also eight weapon skins, including the Kraber “Buster Rifle” skin.

New Gundam-style wild cards will also be introduced to the game. Epyon’s Whip introduces a magnetic melee ability, while Zero Sacrifice triggers a self-destruct explosion upon death. For more details on this and other information, please visit the Apex Legends website.
