Bitcraft Online is another one of those games that is currently only available to play, but will eventually become free to play – when it officially launches. Today we are one step closer to that moment. The game is still in Early Access, but Clockwork Labs has released a patch that brings the MMORPG into what they’re calling “Early Access 2.” This new phase includes new features and changes. This will also halve the current entry costs. Well, technically more than that.
During the first phase of Early Access, Bitcraft cost $30. Now it’s $16. But the game is currently on offer with a 50% discountbringing it down to $8. This is getting closer and closer to free use.
What players can expect from the latest update: According to the patch notes, new onboarding quests have been added that introduce professions and skills. New warehouse settlement structures have been added, as well as a new barter quest. For players who skipped the tutorial, there is also a new quest to help them earn XP from the previous world.
Changes have also been made to the gameplay. For example, instead of requiring Hexit Shards, Empires can now use a Hexit Energy item that can be obtained through gameplay. The experience curve and tool strength have been rebalanced. And certain emotes are no longer available by default. A complete overview of additions and changes can be found in the Game patch notes.
