Warframe has a busy few months ahead if today’s announcements are anything to go by. Not only is the new The Shadowgrapher update scheduled to release in March, but the game is also coming to Android on February 18th, and new ways to experience the game on Switch 2 will be introduced sometime in the first quarter. In addition, the developers are busy planning convention appearances and kicking things off at PAX East, which will also celebrate the game’s 13th anniversary. This will be followed by the first-ever TennoVIP community event in São Paulo, Brazil on May 1st and TennoCon in July. TennoCon tickets go on sale on February 27th. Like I said, they’re busy.
Digital Extremes announced the details in the January Devsteam today. Aside from the date, what’s important to know about Android Warframe’s release is that Canadian residents can get in early via a region-specific soft launch on February 11th, and that the game is compatible with devices running 64-bit Android on an ARM4 processor with Android OS 12.0 oder später.
The upcoming The Shadowgrapher update will introduce the free-to-play sci-fi shooter’s 64th Warframe, the inkblot-inspired Follie. The update will also introduce a new game mode in a haunted painting as well as graphical improvements.
