Where Winds Meet will soon receive its biggest expansion since the release of the free open-world game Wuxia. The expansion, titled Hexi, will roll out in three phases starting March 6th. Each stage introduces a unique new zone, starting with a vast desert. The second zone takes players to snow-capped mountains. The third will be grassland. All of these zones are set in a dream that takes players on a journey through history.
Since this expansion is a dream, it will work as such, showing players the story from the perspective of those who experienced it. In a special livestream tonight, the Where Winds Meet team will give players a look at the new area, explaining the inspiration behind it and how it relates to the rest of the game.
In addition to the new zones, players can expect new fighting styles for two of the weapons, tons of puzzles, tons of side quests and more. The development team has also put together some gifts for players.
