A new update is available in XD Game’s free-to-play adventure RPG Etheria: Restart. The update kicks off Season 4 while introducing several new features, including the Tactical Imprint progression system. Tactical Imprints have passive properties as well as four fixed sockets that players can use to further improve their stats by inserting components. This provides another opportunity to improve offensive, defensive and vitality stats.
To give players the opportunity to obtain Tactical Imprints and their associated components, the update also introduces a new factory system called the Hyper Kernel System, which also provides resources and performance buffs in addition to the imprints and components. Players can also obtain energy crystals through the Hyperkernel, which are needed to level up terminal nodes.
The update also introduces some new Animus, starting with Xuan Chi and Rimeheart Dinah. The former is defense-oriented and has the ability to increase the gymnastic meters of himself and his allies. The latter is a support that causes damage to her teammates.
A new dedicated sprint server has also been launched, accelerating leveling over a 14-day double drop event. It features Hyper Camp assessment missions that offer training points to unlock rewards, and a system that prevents players from being assigned to level 100 players until they reach that level.
