Star Wath Announcement

I didn’t have Gaijin’s Space Extraction Action Game on my bingo card for today, but this is what we’re getting. The company announced its new free-to-play multiplayer game Star Wrath today and then took it a step further. Not only have they started registration for closed beta testing, but the CBT is already live.

As the description suggests, Star Wrath is an extraction game set in spacemore specifically, on the edge of a destroyed solar system. Players roam the region in spaceships and fight each other for resources and DNA samples from pilots. The DNA is used to acquire the skills of fallen pilots and to modify the player’s character. Character isn’t the only thing that can be changed; Players can also build their own ships using modules. These modifications can be made in free style, or players can use preset blueprints.

The idea, of course, is to collect as much as possible, eliminate as many enemies as possible and be the one who comes out alive. In the email that received the press release, the game is described asEscape from Tarkov meets Elite Dangerous,” only with explosive space battles, DNA shenanigans, and the like.

As mentioned above, the game is already in closed beta. Players can register for the test with a Gaijin.Net account. The invitations are sent out in waves. Founder’s Packs are available, and yes, they include guaranteed access. You can find more information about the new game on the official site or the Steam page.
