Gryphline has already announced details of the next Arknights: Endfield update, titled “At the Wake of Spring”. The update continues the free-to-play factory-building action RPG Wuling storyline with a summons from the city’s leader, Zhuang Fangyi, following an unwanted visit from the mysterious Ardashir. Sin embargo, it’s not just him we’re dealing with. It looks like Nefarith has gone a bit overboard with lurking in the shadows and letting her cronies fight for their cause and has entered the battlefield herself. This means we will be fighting our first real battle against her (Sí, “first,” as there will likely be more) since we met her.

Since this part of the story directly concerns Zhuang Fangyi, you probably won’t be surprised that she is the new playable Operator introduced in this update. Fangyi combines electric damage lightning attacks with swordplay.

The update also introduces two new areas to the game, the Marker Stone and the Test Area, as well as two new mission scenes, Wuling Underground Array and Attacked Main Pillar Office. Players can also look forward to more factory gameplay with an updated AIC plan, the new Purification Node facility, a new outpost, and new equipment to craft.

Por supuesto, there are also new events that offer all kinds of rewards. These include a cooking event and a space exploration event. Speaking of rewards, Gryphline sent players 1,000 Oroberyl, 10,000 T-Creds, 8 Elementary Cognitive Carriers, y 4 Arms INSP Set via their in-game email as thanks for their support. There is a deadline for claiming these items. So be sure to register before April 25th.
