Star Trek Online celebrates its Sweet 16 as only an online game can… with new content. The free-to-play MMORPG’s latest update, Corruption, is live on PC and is scheduled to release on consoles on March 10th. With this, Nicole do Boer returns to reprise her role as Captain Ezri Dax of the USS Aventine.

In the new episode, titled “Curse of Phrygia,” Dax calls players to the MIDAS Array to fight the Chimeras that threaten the Array – and subsequently the galaxy. This means players will have to take on a new task force – “Belly of the Beast” – and fight their way through waves of psionic beacons and the enemy reinforcements they summon. In order to retake the array, they must also deal with the invasion once they are on board.

In addition to the new episode and TFO, the update also includes a new event with the same name as the update. Once again, players must contend with a plague of chimeras sabotaging the Alliance’s structures.

Another new content included in the update is a gift for players. If you want to change your style, two new hairstyles are available. And they’re free. The first is a pixie cut, obviously inspired by Dax. The other goes completely the other way with shaggy hair. There are also some new items in the shop.
