When most people think of Valentine’s Day, they think of things like flowers and chocolate. Aparentemente, when the Trove team thinks about this, they immediately think of beetles – specifically tailbugs. Once again, the creatures have returned to the free-to-play voxel MMORPG, and it’s up to players to deal with them.

In case you missed the hint, the annual Heckbug event is underway and players have until February 17th to participate. To participate in the Heckbugs in Love event, head to the Hub where you will discover spaceships bringing HECK Ambassadors. (If you’re wondering, the acronym for Exotic Creatures Helper…stands for karma!) The group is there to ask for help, and players can help by speaking to the leader, Hailey.

HECK wants to “preserve” the beetles and the players can help with treats, electric blankets and other items. (I think the bugs are treated better than the players.)

Sin embargo, players also have to deal with the Heckbug Hunter, who isn’t exactly keen on the invasion.
