Today, XD Games revealed the next season of Torchlight: Infinite, SS11 Vorax. The new season was detailed in a stream today, showcasing new gameplay tweaks and improved graphics for the free-to-play ARPG. When players defeat monsters infected with Vorax Syndrome during the season, they will receive the seasonal currency called Vorax Substance. This can be used to manage incubation tanks over surgical preparation. These tanks change the number, rarity and activity of monsters and affect loot.
If that’s not challenging enough for you, you also have access to scalpels, which can be used to increase the difficulty of encounters and the associated rewards without having to use up compass slots. This is achieved by adding more elites and raiders.
In addition to the various new features and mechanic adjustments, the update also introduces visual improvements designed to improve the gaming experience.
