If you were one of the people who played the Crystalfall demo during Steam Next Fest and wanted more, you don’t have to wait long. CRG Studios announced today that the free-to-play ARPG will enter Steam Early Access on March 20th.
Although it seems that Early Access still won’t be the full game, it will offer more than the demo. Players can experience five acts instead of just one, as well as the early stages of the endgame, in-game trading, and leaderboards. Early Access will also include localization in eleven languages.
During the demo, the developers took player feedback and continued working on the game. They state that they prioritize game mechanics. They also point out that while they would love to accommodate the request for WASD and controller support, this won’t be the case for Early Access as they don’t want to just throw it away without properly working on it
Before Early Access, CRG is running a pre-registration campaign. Since the game has been wishlisted 100,000 times, they are awarding three “LAVA”-themed rewards to players who pre-register through the website. When the game reaches 150,000 on the Wishlist, a fourth item in the set will be unlocked. Please see the announcement on the for details Game’s Steam page.
