Season 3 of Dragon Ball Gekishin Squadra started today. The big news of this update is that it brings a new playable hero to the free-to-play fighting game Super Vegito. Created by the fusion of Goku and Vegita, this warrior takes on a damage role with “high mobility and wide-ranging abilities.” He also has the ability to transform at level 1, as well as a super attack that instantly ends skill cooldowns when activated.
In honor of the new hero’s arrival, the update also includes a time-limited Hero Focus Capsule with special emotes and a finisher effect. The capsule can be purchased in the shop. Additional capsules can be purchased once per day.
Another fun addition to this update is the Pass helper ability. This ability, tied to heroes with a tank role, can pull the closest enemy within AoE range to the user, making them easier to hit. (Okay. This might be less exciting for those using the ability.)
The update also replaces Android 16 with Jackie Chun as the new current boss, introduces a new type of battle and stages, and brings other updates. The full patch notes are available on the game’s website.
