The Hexi update is live in Where Winds Meet, introducing a new region and stories from the past for players of the free open-world game Wuxia to experience. During their exploration, which begins in the desert, players learn new mystical abilities, including one that allows them to swim across the sand as a fish. The update also introduces new appearance sets and other rewards for players as they explore the story and see it through the eyes of those who experienced it.

The new region also introduces new bosses, including the world boss Wandering Ark – a living ancient ship that wanders the desert sands. Defeating the boss nets players all sorts of rewards.

As for the main story, you follow the path of an old man trying to return home while everything collapses around him. And don’t forget to interact with side quests along the way.
