Everyone gets into the Lunar New Year spirit and many games host events. So it probably shouldn’t surprise me that Super Animal Royale – a cute battle royale game full of cute but violent animals – would like to find a reason to spend almost a month on a holiday where a new animal appears every year. Since this is the Year of the Horse, the free game is hosting a “Year of the Super Horse” Event.

The ongoing event will last three weeks and end on February 27th. A new super horse breed will appear each week during the event, starting with the Super Red Hare, based on Guan Yu’s steed. Zusätzlich, the SAW Shop is filled with Lunar New Year cosmetic items, new emotes, and even a Stable Boy Bundle.

During the event, players will find red envelopes scattered throughout the island. These restore some health and help overcome challenges. Red bonus envelopes are also available after games are completed. There will also be fireworks found around the island. I’m sure you know what to do with it.

The SAW Welcome Center fountain in the Social Hub is currently offering music for the Lunar New Year, and an event kiosk features the new Super Siamese Cat NPC that will provide players with more information about the Year of the Super Horse.

Players can also receive a selection of challenge rewards for completing various objectives during the event. By collecting 1,000 red envelopes, players will receive moon fliers. Breaking 2 firework boxes earns 1500 XP. A Lunar Outfit is the reward for 12 kills. 750 Cart Coins are the reward for felling 75 bamboo bushes. And landing at the SAW Bamboo Resort earns players a Moon Umbrella.
