A new round of closed beta testing will begin in Aniimo on January 23rd. Developers at Pawprint Studio announced the second closed beta test of Paws Up during a preview stream this morning, including a look at the content coming to the open-world creature-catching RPG.
Those who took part in the original test will notice that new Aniimo are being introduced, such as those whose moods affect the environment around them, Fentuft and Nimbi, and another that can be used for sound detection, Eko. The latter was apparently requested by players. There will also be new bosses with powerful variants.
In addition to the new Aniimo, the second closed beta test will also introduce several new areas to the game for players to explore. Each has its own interconnected Aniimo behavior. There’s also a new system that allows players to farm, decorate a house, and even take the Aniimo with them on fairground rides using their Aniimo.
