This morning our very own Jason Winter messaged me and asked if we had covered some Fortnite news. At first glance, as I was looking at the site and completely forgetting that there is a pay-to-play PvE half of Fortnite, I thought for a second that Epic had brought something new to the market. Give me a little bit of forgiveness here. I don’t play Fortnite, and well… since Save the World isn’t free, MMOBomb hasn’t mentioned it in a while. Only now it’s free to play. Or it will be in a month.
So if you’re interested in the Fortnite universe but not so much in the battle royale part, you’ll want to mark April 16th on your calendar.
In advance of the free-to-play transition, Epic is hosting a registration event. Players can register on the Site Web du jeuto contribute to community registration milestones that bring rewards to everyone. The milestones are 300,000, 700,000 et 1 million. The rate is currently at 49%, so we’re halfway between milestones one and two and almost halfway to the full 1 million.
