It’s only been a few days since the MONGIL: Star Dive team hosted the First Dive Show, a stream designed to introduce aspiring players to the action-RPG monster-taming game and provide some details ahead of its release. Apparently they decided that wasn’t enough information for players and hosted a live developer stream earlier today.
The stream was effectively a live question and answer session, with the developers answering questions both from the stream chat and on their website. The stream is quite long and some of the questions and answers have no real connection to the game itself. 例えば, they spend some time talking about one of the developers’ decisions in promoting the game. Luckily for us, one of the viewers, LostArk_history, has summarized some of the key points that might be of interest to most players.
We now know that players can initially earn 562 event banner pulls and 112 standard 5-star banner pulls simply by playing the game. Character duplicates – so-called “breakthroughs” can change mechanics, but are not necessary to delete content.
If you’re looking for lots of male characters, this might be the wrong place. The current answer is that they will “consider it fully,” but that for now male characters “could be included” if they prove “absolutely necessary to the plot.”
Viewers also asked about censorship when it comes to character outfits and the developers stated that what we saw was from the live build and there will be no censorship. As for multiplayer, there are no plans to support it. There is also no PvP system in the game. Those interested can watch the full stream below.
