Black Desert Online is a bit strange when it comes to monetization. That’s because it’s never officially free to play, but it’s so cheap to buy that it’s usually offered for free when it goes on sale. Or they host a free weekend event and as long as you get past a certain level you can keep the game without paying for it. But at the end of the day, it’s still officially a buy-to-play game.
However, its mobile counterpart, Black Desert Mobile, is not. Like most mobile games, it is free with microtransactions. Of course, we’re not covering this game since it’s only available on mobile devices – at least for now. Today Pearl Abyss announced a new update for the mobile MMORPG that includes a PC launcher. The new launcher can be downloaded via Official website of the game.
In addition to the PC launcher, the update adds a new server designed for new and returning players, likely making it ideal for those who want to try out the game now that it’s on PC. The update also includes fishing updates and several in-game events.
