Duet Night Abyss’ latest update, The Huaxu: The Wind Awakening, is available and brings with it some pretty big new features. In addition to the things you’d normally expect, like new characters, the update introduces the open-world ARPG’s mount system and an auto-battler mode.

The mount system was teased for a while on the game’s YouTube channel, with the developer releasing videos highlighting various mount options. There are four different types, including the “Mecha-Sable Bi’an”, which is obtained by completing tasks in the game.

Other additions include the ability to send gifts to friends and a regional reward system. The system, known as “Rise to Fame,” offers rewards to players. Players can also earn rewards by participating in the Wishen’s Daring Adventures event.

The two new characters are both electrical elements. The first is a merchant called Zhiliu, who is now available. The latter is the dragon-themed Yuming. They will be made available at a later date.
