Today, ArenaNet released a new update for Guild Wars 2, adding the free-to-play MMORPG’s sixth expansion, Visions of Eternity. What the biggest feature of this update is probably depends on what type of player you are. For the raiders among you, the introduction of Guardian’s Glade will be a big deal. The raid is designed for groups of 10 players fighting against one of the Guardians of Castora. This gives raiders three weeks before a new challenge mode is introduced.

Continuing with the Raid theme, the new update introduces Raid Quickplay and a new overhaul of the Raid system. Quickplay allows players to be paired with nine other players in pre-selected raid encounters. The overhaul, on the other hand, will improve the raid system and introduce new achievements and rewards. Details about the Raid system updates can be found in the video below.

For more fashion-conscious players, the new fashion templates could be the main feature of this update. These templates allow players to customize and save the look of their gear using templates that can be swapped out on the fly. All players receive two free template slots as well as free transmutation fees to try out the systems.

The update Also updates the Wizard’s Vault with new rewards and objectives. And since it’s that time of year, the Lunar New Year festival is underway.
