HSR Fortnite collaboration

While we wait for the next Honkai: Star Rail update, something is happening with Trailblaze elsewhere. One of those places is Epic Games’ free-to-play battle royale game Fortnite – a game known for allowing collaborations with almost… well… anything. At the weekend the EGS Twitter account shared a post with a picture of two swords, as seen above, and the test “Who is the game-changing heir to Fortnite?”

This is one of those tricky things. If you’re a Honkai: Star Rail player, you know exactly what’s happening, and you realize that these two swords belong to two of our favorite Stellaron hunters: Kafka and Blade. Those unfamiliar with the game, however, have made some pretty wild guesses. (And then there are those who are probably just guessing wildly to troll.)

Aside from the image of the two swords, we don’t really know what’s coming to Fortnite from Star Rail. But we can expect the collaboration to include outfit skins – probably for the two characters and perhaps for some others, art, voice packs and perhaps some music or other items. We’ll definitely find out soon enough.

In fact, we may find out on Friday when HoYoverse hosts the Version 4.0 livestream that all Star Rail fans have been waiting for. If you’re looking for a canonical reason for the Star Rail gang to visit in Fortnite, blame Aha. (That would be one of the gods in the game who lives for what YOU think is a good joke.)
