This weekend was a busy one for Digital Extremes. The company attended PAX East and presented new content for Warframe and Soulframe. A big headline for Warframe was the reveal of the Voruna Prime trailer, which is now marked with a NSFW “Blood & Gore” content warning on YouTube. The Voruna Prime variant puts the Wolf Queen on all fours, transforming her into the free-to-play shooter’s first four-legged Warframe. She uses her fangs to inflict status effects, uses a long-distance jump to trip enemies, and can summon Lycath to aid her in battle. No entanto, she doesn’t do everything with teeth and claws. She has her own signature Perigale Prime rifle, the Sarofang Prime axe, and various accessories. The new Warframe will be released on April 8th.

During their time at PAX, DE also revealed new cosmetic skins for Dante and Baruuk. These will be available in the game’s Untitled Summer Update. A Heirloom cosmetic skin for Mesa is also planned for later this year.
