Today, HoYoverse released Zenless Zone Zero’s version 2.6 update “Encore for an Old Dream.” The update arrives on February 6th and brings the Proxies back home to Sixth Street just in time to take part in the annual Gilded Carrot Day fun and cheer on their friends, the Angels of Delusion, as they launch their idol careers. Two of them, Sunna and Aria, will even be added to the list of playable agents in the free-to-play action role-playing game. The group will perform at music venue 404 Error on Sixth Street. We can finally take a look at the place that has been closed since the beginning of our adventures.

In fact, players can go backstage as the Angels’ support staff, manage their schedules and social media, and participate in rhythm-based gameplay. There will also be a new Marcel adventure.

Speaking of new things: a new game mode, Operation Matrix, is being introduced. The mode features rotating thematic stages in which teams consist of three main agents, a support agent and a bangboo. There are also new Resonia and Gears that players will find useful.

Claro, it won’t just be about partying and having fun. As the city prepares for Gilded Carrot Day, Phaethon will take on a new assignment involving an “illegal intelligent being” who requires them to work with Jane Doe. (I wonder if we’ll meet any of the other three super-intelligent AIs like Fairy soon.)
