There are only 11 days left until the release of Neverness to Everness on PC, mobile and PlayStation 5. As we get so close to the release of the free-to-play open-world action game, the developers have decided to host a special program highlighting the town of Hethereau, the characters that live there, and the types of activities players can take part in.
If you’ve been following the development of NDE or taking one of the tests, some of the information here won’t really be new to you. They explain the supernatural events and creatures known as anomalies and how they can be either a threat or useful and friendly. They also give a little history lesson about their existence, as well as a group of secret organizations called “The Circle” that deals with the problems that anomalies can cause. A catastrophe ultimately brought the circle into the public eye, and at the beginning of the game the players have to deal with one of their departments, the Bureau of Anomaly Control.
The player character and all other characters in the game are “Espers”. These are people with supernatural abilities. Some have them from birth, others develop them later.
The video also introduces players to some, but not all, of the game’s factions. This includes the Eibon antique store and its partners/competitors
We get an insight into the sights around Hethereau. もちろん, like any good city exploration game, we need ways to get around. We can take the bus or the train. But sometimes you just have to drive. Of course there are cars. Players can buy cars from dealers. Or steal them, もちろん. Just don’t get caught and dragged to jail. (You can easily avoid this part by having Mint command vehicles with their badge.)
迷っている方へ, there is a mod shop for the cars where players can customize their cars to suit their driving style. Players can also switch to first-person perspective while driving. The exterior of the car is also customizable. あるいは, you can purchase less standard vehicles such as go-karts and wheelchairs. I suspect the latter is due to road safety as it is an anomaly.
そうそう. And players can also invite other characters to ride in the car with them. They will even react to the ride.
Players can also purchase their own homes in the game – from penthouses to a crazy house in the hills. You can also decorate them using furniture and decorations that they collect along the way. And in turn, they can bring other characters with them by inviting them to live with them. This is part of the bond system. The higher the bond level, the more you can do with the characters.
In order to be able to afford all of this, players need money. So you have to undertake missions, jobs and other activities through the City Tycoon feature. This includes everything from searching for anomalies to making deliveries to running a taxi service or running a business.
If you have taken the tests, you will notice some changes in some activities. Mini-games have been optimized and even improved. 例えば, when fishing, outfits are now unlocked at certain milestones. Racing and Mahjong are multiplayer games, meaning you can compete against your friends. または, if you’re feeling a bit like a criminal, you can even use them to commit a bank robbery.
