Although it’s been less than a year since Everstone Studio’s free open-world game Wuxia was officially released worldwide (according to our posts, it’s been around eight months), バージョン 2.0 has been announced. 実際には, it’s scheduled to be released in about a week, on July 23rd.

When the expansion, titled “Hidden Mountain,” arrives, it will give the game a very different vibe that the developers are calling “Eastern Steampunk.” The Hidden Mountain is a “multi-dimensional vertical map” with lots of mechanized features – as you can see in the trailer below. The mountain is home to a new sect, the Mohists, which brings together legendary masters of ancient engineering. 時間とともに, they have transformed the inside of the mountain into a huge mechanism full of various devices. To move around this new zone, players can use all previously acquired skills as well as mechanical devices. Everything is exploreable. Players can also build their own customized vehicle using various components.

もちろん, a new cult means players can join a new cult. The Mohist Hill sect is aimed at crafters and is the first building-focused sect in the game. It provides special improvements to architectural and mechanical crafting skills.

The update also introduces the new Gauntlet Discipline, allowing players to get up close to their enemies in combat.

The other big news with this update is that the developers have made visual and audio improvements. These include a new light rendering and ray tracing system, as well as the introduction of layered acoustics based on wind dynamics.
