This weekend at TennoCon, Digital Extremes hosted a Soulframe devstream panel where they revealed Warsongs, the free-to-play MMORPG’s next Fable Quest. The new content will introduce a darker progression path that will allow players to harness the power of the corrupting Ichor via the new Vadagar Pact. This power includes exploding boomerangs, captivating vines, and the ability to summon a stampede of caustic steeds.

Speaking of steeds, it was also revealed that players can expect mounts at some point this year – apparently in the form of a wolf companion.

The new story brings players face to face with one of the game’s main competitors: Tempest Bayor. This enemy is allied with the invading Ode forces and is accompanied by a raven companion. These same powers are also associated with the game’s newest boss, the Mendicant Reinbreaker.
