A few weeks ago, Riot Games confirmed that the rumors of a Classic mode in League of Legends were real, teasing the possibilities – which appeared to come from different eras of the free-to-play MOBA’s existence – and promising more details during the Mid-Season Invitational. 約束通り, we now have more details.
The mode will be available on July 29th with the release of patch 26.15. The new League Classic gameplay is described as “anchored in 2013’s third season” but also “a collection of early League’s greatest hits.” So you can expect some of your favorite early seasons. The mode features old-fashioned runes and masteries, summoner spells, and a roster of 60 classic champions with pre-built kits. (At least some of them will have the pre-rework kits.)
It also includes a replica of the Summoner’s Rift map. Just because they’re bringing back the old card doesn’t mean it has to look old. したがって, there will be improvements in lighting as well as textures and shadows.
