Today Wargaming released update 15.5 for its free-to-play shooter World of Warships. As we find ourselves in the middle of June and just weeks away from the annual celebration of United States Independence on July 4th, the update brings the celebration into play with the new narrative event “Dawn of a Nation,” which takes a look at the history of the original Thirteen Colonies.

Durante el evento, a new chapter will be unlocked once a week, for a total of four chapters. As the story progresses, players will earn themed rewards including historical commanders, the Betsy Ross flag, a Tier VIII cruiser, y más. Players can also pick up progress tokens that can be used to purchase Dawn of a Nation containers, which contain pieces of a themed historical collection and a rare camouflage for the supership Maine.

Players can also claim rewards from a special Event Pass, with extras to complement their American fleets. The first line shows, entre otras cosas, a Commander of the Statue of Liberty with voice-over and a Stars and Stripes camouflage.
