It’s been a few weeks since NCSoft opened registration for the Limit Zero Breakers Prologue Test. Although there are still almost two weeks until testing begins on June 10, the developers wanted to give potential players a glimpse of what they can expect from the testing phase.
Como todos sabemos, Limit Zero Breakers is an anime style game. Específicamente, it is a real-time action game with team-based combat mechanics. En general, it’s something that fans of modern anime games should be somewhat familiar with by now. Players assemble parties of 3 Breakers, each with their own abilities, armas, and elemental alignments. Building a solid team requires an understanding of the game’s elemental system, as the elements work together and cause debuffs depending on the order in which they are used.
Each Breaker has a basic left-click attack, a right-click dodge, and a skill that requires energy to use. They also have a break indicator. When it fills up, it stuns enemies and increases damage. Of course I’m describing the PC setup, but the game is available on mobile devices and offers cross-play.
In terms of activities, the game offers the player a lot to do outside of the story. This includes monster hunting and multiplayer boss raids. Don’t think about MMO style raids. These are designed for one to three players. Also note that each player can only bring one character. The game also features crafting and synthesis features, allowing players to build armor and weapons while staying on top of things.

En cuanto a la narrativa. Limit Zero Breakers is set in the world of Seraphia, where all major locations are floating islands. It is an “authentic anime-inspired shonen experience” in which players take on the role of Kaito, a Destruction-class firebreaker. Sí, he has amnesia and is quite friendly. He also has the ability to pick locks. No idea how he remembers how to do that with the amnesia and all, but considering most protagonists with amnesia know how to fight from the start, it’s not that strange.
To explore the world of Seraphia, Kaito eventually joins the captain and crew of the Weaver Whale. This hub area is a ship that can take players from island to island. This is also where players interact with their playable and non-playable allies. Think of it as something similar to the Dijiang in Arknights: campo final. Before you ask: No, there are no residential features. At least. Not yet.
Sin embargo, the Weaver Whale does have features that make it worth returning, including the sub-story system where players can take on side quests. The “Weberlance” is even more exciting. This allows players to summon a lance attack from the air during combat. Upon impact, the lance stuns enemies on the field and deals massive damage to them.

At the end of the preview we were allowed to ask a few questions. The topic of AI came up and we were told that there would be no generative AI in the test. Sin embargo, it was used for conceptualization in the early stages of development. Now all the characters players will see are hand-drawn.
If you are a PvP fan, I am sorry to report that we have been informed that there is currently no PvP in the game.
Finalmente, I asked what the game’s update schedule would be and whether players should take into account the six-week rotation that most gacha games seem to have and what the ratio between male and female characters would be. For both, we were mostly told that there was no answer yet. When it comes to the character ratio, we were told that it would be a healthy mix. But it seemed like they were talking more about racial variants, talento, y similares.
Como se mencionó anteriormente, the Limit Zero Breakers Prologue test begins on June 10th. It runs for five days and ends on June 15th. If you would like to participate, register via your mobile device or via vapor.
