OSRC Wyrmscraig

Okay, that’s pretty neat. New zones are often added in MMORPGs, but they are usually not designed by any of the game’s players. So it’s pretty cool that the island of Wyrmscraig, created by player ScreteMonge (or Gnome), is now available in Old School RuneScape.

The island was one of more than 1,000 entries for the Community Player Designed Island competition held earlier this year. It now lies somewhere on the southwestern sea of Gielinor and is known locally as Cuil An Domainh. This is mountainous terrain with aggressive wildlife. The player’s first encounter with the island will be a village called Auchrie. Von dort, they can explore and accept the new quest and learn about a guardian called The Mad Angel. The island also features a new Slayer Master and two new activities: Golem Crafting and Goat Hunting.

The island is available to players starting today.
