On May 6th, Zenless Zone Zero will conclude the second season storyline with the release of version 2.8 “New: Eridan Sunset”. With the update, players of the free action role-playing game return to the Outer Ring in search of Ramiel and the W-Engine that stole her. On their way there, they meet Promeia, Krampus’ executioner, who forms an alliance with Billy, Cissia and the Proxies to track down Ramiel – all for her own reasons.
Promia will be one of two new agents appearing in version 2.8. The other is Billy with a shiny new upgrade – aka Starlight – Billy. He has finally become a Starlight Knight. Promia will be available in the first phase along with a Lucia replay. This is followed by “Starlight – Billy” and a repeat of “Orphie & Magus”.
The update introduces a new combat type, Vortex Combat, as well as the new Wind attribute. When the Wind attribute is inflicted on enemies, it triggers Vortex and deals AoE anomaly damage, allowing players to form new types of teams.
As for the events, players can expect a Promeia combat mission, a Spookshack event, and an event that takes them to a Bangboo theme park. The latter will reward players with the new Bolteist Bangboo.
During the special program, the developers also announced a new feature – one that those who play Honkai Star Rail will be familiar with, a system for tracking the acquisition of polychromes. Here’s what activities you can do to earn Polychromes and how many are still available to purchase.
For those concerned about their hard drive space, this has been worked on and will be interesting additional tools for gamers to control what is installed on their system.
Enfin, ZZZ will soon be available on Steam. The game site is online and players can now add it to their wishlist. Bien sûr, there are rewards when the number of people on the wish list reaches certain milestones.
