The war in Lineage II begins on July 14th. Who are we fighting against? Other servers. Why are we fighting? Not sure. It’s probably the prey. How do we fight? Okay, so it could be less of a war and more of a friendly competition where players earn points – hopefully enough to give their server and themselves a few extras.

NCSoft announced the event today via the free-to-play MMORPG’s Twitter page, but didn’t provide much information other than a link to it Server War microsite Here you will learn more about the Citadel of Darkness and the Dark Legion invasion. The former is a daily world time hunting zone for players level 85 and above. Players can hunt monsters and bosses here for an hour on each day of the event. The latter is a daily surprise field attack. This also applies to players level 85 and above and can be completed up to four times per day. Completing each of these activities earns players points and rewards, both server-wide and individually.
