If you’ve always wanted to try Path of Exile 2 but didn’t want to pay for Early Access – especially when the ARPG will be free-to-play upon full release – then here’s your chance. Grinding Gear Games announced today that the game will be free to play on weekends starting May 29th. The event lasts until June 1st, so you have three days to play.
During the free weekend, players can try out the game’s new challenge league, Runes of Aldur, as well as the various endgame updates. And no, this is not Steam specific. You can also play on Xbox and the Epic Games Store.
You can also earn some of the Knights of Aldur armor set and other items by completing special challenges in the game. Of course, you have to keep playing the game to really enjoy it, which is why GGG is also offering a 50% discount on the Early Access Supporter Pack between May 29th and June 12th.
