For some time now, Wuthering Waves players have been waiting as patiently as possible for the long-announced crossover event Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. We had no idea what this event could entail, but given both IPs, we knew it had great potential. That said, it could have been something like the Persona and Sonic crossovers where we just got a bunch of cosmetics to do things.

Now we know for sure that the event will be focused on stories. The proof is the trailer that Kuro released on the YouTube channel Wuthering Waves. Based on the trailer, Edgerunners will appear at the academy in Lahai-Roi. You’ll work with some of our favorite characters to achieve the goals that brought you there – at least one of which involves the moon.

We don’t have an exact date for the crossover event yet. But we know it will drop sometime in June. So we don’t have to wait much longer to get in on the action. Anyway, we’ll probably find out more about this in the next special broadcast of the next free-to-play open-world RPG.
