This is a good week to be good at PvP in Rift. If you’re the competitive type and like to use your pent-up aggression to get rewards, then you should take part in the free-to-play MMORPG’s Ascended Trial: Bloodstorm event.

The event starts tomorrow, May 12th, and runs until May 19th. Participation is easy; All players need to do is log in with their favorite character, queue up for PvP, and get as many kills as possible. Each kill earns you a point, and these points determine your place on the leaderboard.

At the end of the event, the results are counted and rewards are distributed to the top ten players. First place will receive 4000 credits and a unique title: “The Apex Champion”. The runner-up will receive 2500 credits and the unique title of “Champion Challenger”. Whoever ends up in third place will receive the final unique title for this event: “the Rookie Challenger” and 1500 credits. Finally, places four to ten will each be credited with 500 credits.
