The next season of Apex Legends, “Overclocked,” is scheduled to release in a few days, on May 5th. The season promises a high-risk, high-reward meta for those who really want to test themselves, and introduces the next legend of the free-to-play shooter, Axle. Axle is all about speed, to the point that she is what they call a body mod racer. She has a Drift passive that makes her movements more precise. Additionally, her Nitro Gate Tactical allows her to move at high speeds, and her Kickstart Ultimate deploys an enemy-seeking drone. She will definitely be a threat on the field.

In addition to the new character, Overclocked also introduces updates for Conduit and Vantage. Conduit’s base set now has two charges of Radiant Transfer, and her Savior’s speed grants additional movement as she sprints towards skirmishers. She also has two new Level 3 upgrades that improve her offensive power. Vantage, on the other hand, now has a faster attack on her Sniper’s Mark Ultimate, while her Echo Relocation Tactical prevents a hard landing from dealing damage to her. It now also features an increased 4x zoom and a 2x tilted visor.
