Until May 26, Star Trek Online players can participate in the Crystalline Chaos event and earn progress toward the free-to-play MMORPG’s eighth event campaign reward, the Tholian Universal Kit Frame. The Tholians are back to take advantage of the current situation in the galaxy, but this time they appear to be accompanied or accompanied by a crystalline entity. It’s up to players to deal with the threat before it gets out of control.

The event consists of three space TFOs: Crystalline Catastrophe, Azure Nebula Rescue and Vault: Ensnared. Players can play any of these to earn progress towards the Tholian Universal Kit Frame reward. This item granted players defense bonuses as well as set-based bonuses to the Universal Kit Module – Tholian Technology Suite and the Tholian Shocktrooper Radiation Cannon. Provided they are used together.
