Let’s go! The big climax of Summer Game Fest – you know, the one we’re keeping an eye on for all the trailers – is just four days away, and that means some of the developers who will be in attendance are teasing their announcements to make sure players are watching.

One of these developers is ArenaNet, developer of the popular Guild Wars MMORPG IP. Yesterday the developer released teasers on Bluesky, Twitter and others other places. As you’d expect, the posts are pretty vague, consisting of a fantasy-vibe video, a date, and a short description. The one Bluesky didn’t even mention Summer Game Fest by name. Instead, the developers said, “The wind, gentlemen. The world is changing. Be ready.” Twitteron the other hand, was more direct and said: “Be ready – and tune in to the Summer Game Fest on May 6th, 2026. Big things are brewing in the #Games industry. Will you be watching?”

I’m sure most of us will be. Now Guild Wars fans just have another reason to check out the game.
