With the release of today’s update, Palia players are heading to the beach. The update “The Sunkissed Summer: An Amberlight Affair” opens the cozy MMORPG with a trip to the beach and the Summer Pop-Up Store. This is just the beginning.

The update brings a new community event called “Maws and Paws” for hunters and fishermen. A similarly titled Lunar Path, “Path of the Maws,” is also now available.

I’m not entirely sure about the logic of these next things. When it’s hot outside, you usually want to think about cool things. But that hasn’t stopped the developers from introducing a fiery elemental, Ignit, and some fiery lava blocks that can also be used in ships and sandcastles.

Other new content includes new shades and plush toys. Photo mode has also been updated and new features such as profile icons and an option to teleport to friends have been introduced. For a complete overview of all features, see the patch notes on the Palia website.
