With the Lahai Roi story now over in Wuthering Waves, Rover is ready to pay a visit to where it all began: Jinzhou. But. There is a problem. (Isn’t that always the case?) People disappear, and it seems to have something to do with Jinzhou’s neighboring country, Xuanfang. Chixia and Yangyang were sent to the border for examination. Unfortunately, Chixia was injured in an encounter with many Tacit Discords and Yangyang decided to investigate the matter on her own. She hasn’t been seen since.
If you’ve never heard of Xuanfang, that’s okay. It is part of Mengzhou, which is part of all of Huanglong. It is responsible for holding back the flood and is part of what ensures the safety of Jinzhou. It also has its own Sentinel (as do all six major cities in Huanglong, apparently). Yangyang’s sister Suisui also lives there and Buling comes from. It is known for its many mechanisms, including small mechanical birds.
Rover will spend his time in this region in versions 3.5-3.7, searching for Yangyang and finding out what happened to her. There the players will also meet Suisui. Both sisters will be the new resonators available during the 3.5 update.
Update 3.5 of the free-to-play action role-playing game arrives on July 10th with the two-part main quest, Chapter IV Act I “The Wind Before the Storm” and Chapter IV Act II “Xuanling Sings, Storm Quelled”. During this quest, Rover receives something called the Skyscribe Armillary, which allows him to view moments in time and see what is going on with other resonators when they are not there. It will also allow them to advance the story from different angles.
A follow-up quest, Main Quest IV Segue, “The Chant of Unseen Ties”, gives players insight into what happened to Yangyang. By completing the story, players will receive a new Xuangang-inspired motorcycle chassis. So at least we keep our bike in this region.
If you have not yet completed the previous story content, you can continue to 3.5 provided you have unlocked the Nexus Tower in Jinzhou as Mengzhou has been added to the fast track system.
As mentioned above, Yangyang and her sister Suisui will be the new Resonators leading the Banners in this update. Yangyang: Xuanling will be a Havoc/Sword resonator. She will appear alongside reprises of Lynae and Luuk Herssen. Suisui, a Glacio/Rectifier Resonator, is accompanied by an Aemeath repeat.
Additionally, there will be a Starpath Reverbs banner throughout version 3.5. To dress, choose one of six Jinzhou resonators: Jiyan, Yinlin, Jinshi, Changli, Zhezhi or Xiangli Yao. The first ten draws are free and additional draws are earned by reaching milestones in the Reverb Resonator Convene. Each Resonator’s signature weapon will also be available for use.
Version 3.5 will also finally give Rover a new attribute: Electric, as well as the “Electric Bracelet,” which can transform into one of three different weapons when needed. These are a shield, a blade and a crossbow. A special moveset combines all of Rover’s characteristics, which is usually only seen in cutscenes in these games.
The update will also bring some quality of life changes. This includes a new feature that allows players to change voice-over languages character by character. Note that this will not work in primary story content as it would be more difficult. Additionally, players can now choose between a semi-automatic and fully automatic option when it comes to auto-playing the story. Finally play
A new feature allows players to change the voice-over languages for each character. This only applies to non-story content; Story content follows the language selected in the settings menu. Choose between semi-automatic and fully automatic. In addition, it will now be easier to obtain material via the travel guide.
Finally, a note: If you’ve been waiting for WuWa to come to Xbox, your wait is almost over. It will launch on the console along with the version 3.5 update.
No, we haven’t forgotten the codes. They are: MECHANISM, INTOTHEFOGAnd REUNION. Make sure you use them before Sunday.
